Whole roasted garlic

Ingredients:

  • 3 whole bulbs of garlic
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves

Method:

Cut the top of the garlic bulb and place in a Pyrex dish. Drizzle the olive oil, sea salt and thyme leaves over the garlic.

Cover with tin foil and bake in a 450F degree oven for 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and immediately squeeze out the roasted garlic from the skins.

Note: The roasted garlic is now ready to serve. It can be used to make roasted garlic dips, roasted garlic cheese spreads, roasted garlic pasta sauces, etc.
