Cancer has touched my family so I was enthusiastic about a special shoot for some of the Cityline viewers who are undergoing, or have completed, treatment for breast cancer. After finding some great women on our Facebook page, Leeanne Colley (the owner of Tips Nail Bar) invited some of the ladies to come down for some pampering. The women received manicures with nails painted pink (in support of breast cancer) and makeup done by Benefit Cosmetics. There was lots of laughter and exchanges of stories which I found particularly touching, and I’m sure many of the women left as friends.

It was such a pleasure to spend time with these amazing women on this afternoon and listen to their unique journey and how much this day meant to them. Here’s an extended version of the Cityline story to share even more of their stories!

But at least they let me off with just doing my toes!
