The Digital Life Starts Here

Albert Einstein once said, “It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.”

The reality is, there are hundreds of thousands of gadgets, tech and applications, more than we could ever count, and we know that it can all be overwhelming! It can be just a challenge to turn the device on, talk about navigating and using them in your everyday life. As the title of this CityLine web series suggests, “The Digital Life” will be about you and your 21st century digital lifestyle.

A little bit about myself, I’m @WinstonSih, a Toronto-based technology enthusiast, and I dedicate a major part of my life, learning and understanding technology, while helping you demystify it, and that is why I’m a perfect fit to host a web series on CityLine.ca. I’ve been previously seen and heard on various media outlets in Canada and across the United States, and I also am a Contributing Editor at TechnoBuffalo and a Co-Host at Butterscotch TV.

My goal with this blog is to not overwhelm and confuse you with technology, but to simplify and help you make sense of it all. Rest assured, no confusing talk about “computer calibration” or “segment defragmenting,” but I will, however, ensure that we cover the latest in tech and social media that can be used in your everyday life!

We will be following the latest technology trends (like understanding Twitter), gadgets, online life and applications. We would like you to have a chance to interact with us! Ask your technology questions, be they about tech help, understanding trends, reviewing gadgets, help with parental controls, etc. No question is a dumb question!

I’d like to welcome your feedback! What would you like to see on this blog? What gadgets do you want to see reviewed? Is there an online trend you would like to see covered? A tech question you’d like answered? Drop us a line! Leave a comment in the feedback section below, or tweet me, @WinstonSih!
