Slap on those sneakers

I’ve never had a huge problem amassing my self-esteem so it’s very cool that the charity I support – Girls On The Run – has affectionately named me their Ambassador of Self Esteem!

I wear the title proudly.

I’ve been a supporter of Girls On The Run for years…even before I had kids. It’s a program run through Canadian schools that gets young girls interested in sports, confidence and health instead of boys, drugs and body image.

In short – it’s awesome.

Now this Sunday, October 21st I get to flex my self-esteem muscle in our newest event – the Women On The Run 5K. I’ll host the event and then get on the path and run it with hundreds of other women. All of the proceeds will go to Girls On The Run. The goal is to allow as many girls as possible to take part in the GOTR workshops. If you can’t afford to send your daughter to a GOTR program at her school, we want to make it happen for you anyway.

Come out and run. And if you can’t run walk. And if you can’t walk DONATE!

Just bring a little self-esteem. We’ll provide the rest.
