You’ve heard all about the Disney magic, the fairy dust and the all-around awesomeness, but I actually got a real dose this weekend.
In preparation for our City in Disney special airing April 23 on Cityline, I did more things in 48 hours than most sane people do in a month.
Take a deep breath, then read this:
DAY 1: Saturday
- Rode Test Track (fast!) three times
- Rode Thunder Mountain twice (saw a goat)
- Danced in Disney parade with intimidating stilt man
- Shot numerous promos, walking shots and cover shots
- Makeup done by Lauren (lovely woman)
- Shot show intro in front of castle
- Transformed into a princess by Fairy Godmother
- Found a prince (you’ll have to tune in to see who it is!)
- Danced with said prince
- Got mobbed by mini princesses
- Got mobbed by Canadians (love all you guys, eh!)
- Sat down for a second
- Had dinner with the team
- Passed out in hotel room
DAY 2: Sunday
- Rode the Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster THREE times!
- Shot crazy air guitar sequence (attracted weird looks)
- Rode The Tower of Terror TWICE! (no comment)
- Shot the story intro a billion times
- Got mobbed by Canadians (still love you all, eh)
- Skipped down the road with Leigh-Ann
- Ate ice cream
- Back to hotel for lunch
- Hot tub / book / lunch
- Shower / change
- Driven to Art of Animation Resort
- Shot a billion takes of an intro with Brian Gluckstein
- Shot tour of Cars Family Suite
- Shot walking shots with Brian
- Collapsed in car back to hotel
- Forced Brian to see giraffes
- Said bye to Brian
- Changed / packed / tweeted
- Driven to airport
- Plane delayed
- In bed by 2:30am
