4 travel-ready outfits for a comfy and practical vacation

Stylist, Iva Grbesic shares with us four travel styles, perfect for your next vacation.

Yoga Wear

Yoga pants and the matching tops, jackets, bras etc. have become staples in many women’s closets and luckily, these items travel well. Flights can be cramped and uncomfortable with many women opting to look cute and comfortable in their yoga pants with matching pieces. These items can easily be worn once at the resort or travel destination for a day of exploring or adventure.

Wrinkle Resistant & Made for Travel

One of the biggest issues when travelling is wrinkled clothing. Chico’s has developed a wrinkle free wardrobe that you can mix and match with two base colours – black or navy. There are dresses, pants, skirts, tops and jackets available and this versatile wardrobe allows you to put together a wardrobe and then infuse colour with accessories like shoes, scarves, and hats. Roll it or fold it when you take it out of your suitcase you are ready to start your vacation.

Sleeveless Dresses

Many of us want to be able to dress up and dress down a dress when we are travelling. We can’t or don’t want to over pack. A sleeveless dress made of a light fabric is the best thing to wear when you want to keep cool and stylish, especially when travelling in the summer or to a hot destination. You can dress it up with a fun pair of heeled sandals or dress it down with flats. Please remember dress codes when entering certain buildings especially religious ones. Travel with a scarf to ensure you can explore all the buildings you want to see.

Special Occasion Dress

Many cruises have formal/semi-formal dinners where guests are expected to dress up and enjoy the evening and many of us want to do the same when visiting a tropical island or when exploring culinary cities like Paris, London or Tokyo. Don’t purchase something you will never wear once you get back home, this means look for classic silhouettes in colours you enjoy.
