'I love you, baby' cheeseburger breakfast

If you really want to impress that special someone, make a cheeseburger breakfast in bed, using pancakes for buns!

“I love you, baby” cheeseburger breakfast

Serves 2
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Special tools: cast iron frying pan

Ingredients:

6 oz medium ground beef (divided in two and balled)
2 slices cheddar, 2-inch square
‎2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups self-rising flour
1 tbsp sesame seeds
‎Nub of butter
Salt and pepper

Method:

1. Beat eggs milk and vanilla together. Add slowly to flour until smooth. Let rest.

2. Heat cast iron pan to medium-high, add balls of ground beef and press down to make burger patty, just bigger than a silver dollar. Season with salt and pepper. Let sear until burger has a crust. Flip and top with cheese. Remove pan from heat and ‎let rest in the pan.

3. In a separate non-stick pan ‎on medium heat, add nub of butter and start 4 pancakes just bigger than a silver dollar. When you see bubbles coming through the cake, sprinkle with sesame seeds and flip.

4. Build your burger between the two pancakes, sesame seeds facing out, and serve with yogurt ‎and berries.
