Clean up your makeup for the fall

Changing seasons means a change in fashion, and it also means a change in your makeup bag.

Changing seasons means a change in fashion, and it also means a change in your makeup bag.

Makeup artist Tracy Peart says there are some items that you might need to take out for the fall. Most of what you use for the summer won’t be returning to your bag, because the skin reacts differently to each season’s weather.

What you do need:

  • Moisturizer
  • A thicker foundation with more coverage
  • Lip scrub
  • Chapstick/lip balm
  • Concealer, regardless of the time of year
  • Richer lipsticks
  • An atomizer of thermal water, to keep your complexion fresh

But be careful about the bronzer! Tracy Peart says if you’re going to use it, use it sparingly.
